Travel quickies w/ Hansi pt.2

My wife has sent me to basketball training because of total absence of willingness to do something for my body. It was advertised as “some older dudes who play around with a basketball and sometimes when there’s enough people we would play full court.

Long story short, we were six in total and these older dudes were extremely motivated, insisted on playing on full court and I came back on that very evening with a metatarsal fracture in my left foot. During the recovery process I not only gained another five pounds I also have met my new and first orthopaedic.

As I had to see him on a regular basis he always asked me if I needed any prescriptions. After a few appointments with him we are piled up with various sorts of painkillers some of them could probably put an elephant to sleep.

After the night settled in on our flight to Hongkong I tranquilised myself with a bouquet of various pills. I felt like I had superpower with the attitude of “I couldn’t care less.” I carried  various kids to sleep that night and I swear that one of them was Chinese.

Anyway we made it to Hongkong. My wife and I can argue about who left the light in the garage on for hours but when it comes to challenges we are like clockwork. I wouldn’t do these trips with anyone else but you. And the other three of course.

“Bien venido” a Hongkong as they say in Miami.
